As St. Joseph’s Hospital Kitgum celebrates 50 years of its existence, I reflect upon the past with visible excitement.
I am profoundly excited not because of this hospital mere existence but because it has a significant impact upon peoples’ life, those that had and have opportunity to visit the hospital. Guided by prestigious mission of the hospital “To promote life to the full and heal the sick” and the theme for the celebration “To increase access to quality medical services to the population of Northern Uganda and beyond”, this future the elevation move that give a good opportunity to all people regardless of background in all kinds of lifestyles embark on cooperation and commitment. Commitment at work, I found the true ingredients of success which is the engine that gives all interventions to move in accordance with the mission and the theme of celebration of 2010. |
