- The Caterer shall cook and serve quality meals for staff and students.
- Maintain high food cooking and hygiene standards.
- ensure good personal hygiene and safe food handling to prevent food poisoning
- Ensure food is cooked in time not to disrupt the school meal timetable.
- Apply good food and nutrition practices.
- Suggesting ways to enrich school diets and meet the nutritional needs of the school.
- Use resources like water, power, food, and cleaning materials with sensitivity to cost without compromising health.
- Wash and safely stack away cooking and eating utensils and equipment in accordance to high health and safety practices.
- Take charge of kitchen equipment and utensils suggesting ways to improve quality services
- O-Level Certificate
- Certificate in a profession related to Hotel Management, Home economics, or Hospitality or a related discipline.
- Diploma in the above discipline is an added advantage.
