Key Activities:

1. Receiving patients, register admissions, discharge and deaths.
2. Provide nursing care services to patients.
3. Keeping patients comfortable and ensuring a healthy environment.
4. Prepare and carry out sterile procedures.
5. Participating in bed side procedures as a member of the caring team.
6. Participate in Doctors/Clinical Officers Ward round.
7. Preparing patients for meals and participating in serving them.
8. Managing and accounting for allocated resources.
9. Participate in research activities.
10. Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff.
11. Adhering to professional code of conducts and Ethics.
12. Compiling of daily ward reports and handover to the in-coming shift.
13. Carry any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
