St. Joseph’s Hospital Kitgum is a Private Not for Profit General Hospital located in Northern Uganda and affiliated to the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB).St. Joseph’s Hospital Kitgum is currently seeking to recruit a suitable, skillful, qualified applicant with integrity/good morals, strong analytical skills, God fearing, and a team player to fill the position of Orthopedic Officer
- Take the lead in the management of all orthopedic conditions in the Hospital in consultation with the Medical officers and orthopedic surgeon.
- Run a weekly orthopedic clinic in the hospital.
- Be in a position to manage most Orthopedic conditions.
- Provide health education and prevention for Orthopedic conditions
- Ensure that Orthopedic data is well managed
- Advocate for procurement of equipment needed to improve orthopedic services.
- Organizing the annual orthopedic camp in line with the hospital activity calendar.
General Compliance:
- To comply with all Hospital Policies and Procedures.
- To perform duties to the highest standard with particular regard to effective and efficient use of resources, maintaining quality, and contributing to improvement.
- Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time
- Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine
- Minimum Experience – 2 years.
- Must have registered with Allied Health with valid practicing License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to uphold hospital core values.
- National Identity Card.
